Wreaths of roses have also been found in Egyptian tombs and silver coins minted in the 4th century BC. During the Roman period, the plants were widely grown in the Middle East. In the 15th century, the flower was used as a symbol of the rebels who fought for control of England, with the white rose symbolizing York and the red rose symbolizing Lancaster. This conflict is also known as the \"War of the Roses\". In Greek mythology, it is said that the goddess of love - Aphrodite, created the rose from her tears and blood for her beloved Adonis. In India, there is a myth about the appearance of the goddess of abundance and beauty Lakshmi of pink color. It is no coincidence that Persia was called the \"Land of Roses\". There were numerous pink areas in the cities, and the mountains were covered with roses. Of all the European countries, the greatest love was given to the rose in France.
